In 1960, leaders from the West Cedar Church of Christ in Denver, Colorado, had a vision to provide a Christian-based, non-profit home to help hurting children. Through much time commitment, prayer, and personal sacrifice, Mountain States Children's Home (MSCH) became a reality. From the original 155-acre farm with a single farm house and the vision of what this land could become, this ministry has continued the original mission in this pristine location a few miles north of Longmont, Colorado, in a peaceful country setting.
Since that four-bed beginning, the home has grown to a campus with four residential homes serving up to 25 children per year. The services have also expanded to meet the changing needs of children in a fast-pace complex society. |
